Does Claude accept crypto? The direct and gift-payment routes
Anthropic's consumer checkout does not currently present Bitcoin, USDT, USDC, ETH, SOL, or LTC as direct payment choices. A separate purchase service can accept crypto and use conventional payment rails to buy an official Claude gift-subscription link for the customer.

The short answer
You cannot select cryptocurrency as a native payment method in Claude's own subscription checkout at the time of this review. The crypto route on this site is therefore not a hidden Anthropic billing option: it is an independent one-time purchase service.
The service receives the selected crypto, verifies the transfer, purchases an official gift through Anthropic's gift flow, and delivers the redemption link. Anthropic remains the subscription provider after redemption.
What this route is—and is not
The customer receives a gift-subscription link for their own eligible Claude account. They do not receive a shared login, a pre-made account, an API key, a wallet-connected subscription, or an unofficial lifetime plan.
- One-time crypto payment to the independent store.
- Manual on-chain verification using the public transaction ID.
- Official gift link redeemed on Claude's website.
- No automatic renewal or stored card created by the store.
Crypto does not override account eligibility
The recipient must still meet Anthropic's location, age, account, mobile-subscription, expiry, and stacking rules. Paying with crypto changes the purchase rail, not the provider's product or policies.
When direct payment is preferable
If Anthropic's own checkout accepts your preferred card and currency, buying there avoids an independent service fee and is the simpler route. The crypto purchase service is intended for customers who deliberately need one of the listed on-chain payment options.
